A dreadful Sunday in London, rainy, wet, cold but LOVELY to see all the creativity on display at design junction 2012.
Housed in the Old Sorting Office on New Oxford Street in central London, design junction 2012 was three (humongous) floors of furniture, soft furnishings and design led accessories for the home and office.
Standouts for me were (smorgasbord like) the prints at Outline Edition, with a special mention/shout out to the vivid map prints of Kristjana Williams. At Theo (an online only boutique), there was a irresistible mix of the quirky - giant post it notes and bone china rings. I also stopped at Anything for a very forward looking stapler which now graces my office table.
Furniture wise, Gubi was a hit for me with its Safari chair. A definite want. And rounding out the day, Baccarat had an amazing chandelier cum umbrella and Wallace#Sewell makes beautiful textiles right here in London.
